About the Role
Rankviz is looking for a results-driven Upwork Sales Specialist with proven experience in lead generation, proposal writing, and client acquisition through Upwork and other freelance platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, securing projects, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and maintain Upwork and freelance marketplace profiles.
- Identify relevant project opportunities and submit high-converting proposals.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Communicate effectively with international clients to understand project requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines to successfully close deals.
- Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client requirements with service delivery.
- Track sales performance and contribute to business growth strategies.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Upwork bidding and freelance platform sales.
- Strong English communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Excellent proposal writing and business correspondence abilities.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing projects.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to coordinate with clients across US, UK, and Australian time zones.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling digital services such as SEO, Web Development, PPC, Content Writing, or Digital Marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines.
- Understanding of freelance marketplace algorithms and bidding strategies.
