BD intern

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building strong client relationships. This internship provides hands-on experience in sales strategy, client communication, and market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients through online research and networking platforms.
  • Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, and cold calling.
  • Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.
  • Maintain and update CRM records with accurate client information.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with prospective clients.
  • Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Prepare basic reports on outreach and lead generation performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales and business development processes.
  • Confident, persuasive, and goal-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools.
  • Basic knowledge of proposal writing.
  • Understanding of digital marketing or IT services (if applicable to company).
