Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Business Development Intern with a Computer Science background to support our sales and growth initiatives. This role is ideal for recent CS graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience who are interested in building a career in IT business development, pre-sales, or technology consulting.
The intern will bridge the gap between technical teams and potential clients by understanding project requirements and helping convert leads into opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients in target markets.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, and other digital platforms.
- Understand client technical requirements and coordinate with the development team.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, presentations, and solution documents.
- Support client meetings by documenting requirements and follow-ups.
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate prospect information.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis in the software services domain.
- Track and report weekly business development activities and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Mandatory).
- 0–6 months of experience in business development, sales, or IT services (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, technologies, and SDLC.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and CRM tools is a plus.
