BD Lead (Medical Billing)

Job Title: BD Lead – Medical Billing (RCM)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Lead with a strong background in medical billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving client acquisition, building long-term relationships with U.S.-based healthcare providers, and expanding the company’s medical billing portfolio.

This role requires a mix of sales expertise and operational understanding of the medical billing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and acquire new clients in the U.S. healthcare market (providers, clinics, group practices)
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and close deals
  • Conduct client presentations, sales calls, and negotiations

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Act as the main point of contact for client communication and business discussions
  • Understand client needs and align services accordingly

3. RCM & Medical Billing Expertise

  • Leverage knowledge of end-to-end medical billing processes to pitch services effectively
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Provide insights on improving billing workflows and revenue outcomes for clients

4. Proposal Development & Deal Closure

  • Prepare proposals, pricing models, and service agreements
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet revenue targets

5. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and client requirements
  • Identify new opportunities for service expansion
  • Contribute to overall business growth strategy

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain CRM records and track sales performance
  • Provide regular reports on leads, conversions, and revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams (billing, operations, compliance)

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in medical billing/RCM with exposure to business development or client handling
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end medical billing and claims processes
  • Proven experience in client acquisition or sales within healthcare/RCM domain
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with U.S.-based healthcare clients
  • Familiarity with billing software such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, or Athena
  • Existing network within healthcare providers or billing industry is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and sales pipelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
