The Sales Manager/ – Road Freight will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing business for both ATS’s own fleet and market truck operations. The role involves managing GCC and domestic movements while ensuring optimal utilization of fleet capacity, securing backloads from KSA, Oman, Bahrain, and other GCC countries, and expanding ATS’s market presence.


Key responsiblities is to promote and develop:

· GCC Transportation

· Domestic transportation

· Back loads from KSA, Oman, Bahrain

· Sila Custom Clearance


Responsible for:


Business Development & Revenue Growth

· Develop and execute sales strategies to secure road freight business for ATS’s fleet and market trucks

· Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining relationships with existing clients.

· Secure backloads from GCC countries (KSA, Oman, Bahrain, etc.) to optimize fleet utilization and profitability.

· Drive revenue growth by targeting key industries such as FMCG, retail, automotive, construction, and oil & gas.


Operations & Logistics Coordination

· Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

· Coordinate with the fleet management team to optimize truck availability and efficiency.

· Monitor and analyze market rates, freight trends, and competitor activities to stay competitive.


Customer Relationship Management

· Develop strong relationships with shippers, consignees, and logistics decision-makers.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely delivery and service excellence.

· Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.


Sales Reporting & Performance Monitoring

· Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

· Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management team.

· Maintain a database of clients, inquiries, and follow-ups in CRM systems/excel.



Key Requirements:


Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in sales within road freight, transport, or logistics.

· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the GCC road freight sector.


Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of GCC road freight operations, trucking networks, and market trends.

· Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

· Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.


Other Sales related tasks:

· Sales Management and Business Development Strategy Implementation

· MIS – market analysis and reporting

· Controlling Credit for existing and future customers

· Representation of brand image

· Contingency and back-up for transporters
