Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques such as balayage and updos, utilizing color theory knowledge to achieve desired results
• Perform hair extension installations and maintenance using various methods to enhance volume and length
• Deliver professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and intricate nail art with attention to sanitation standards
• Create stunning eyelash extensions and perform lash lifts to accentuate clients’ natural beauty
• Execute hair braiding styles from classic to intricate designs while maintaining hygiene and client comfort
• Conduct skin-friendly hair threading and makeup application for special occasions or everyday looks
• Use salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and store management tasks
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment adhering to all sanitation protocols and safety regulations
• Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, skincare products, or makeup to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of salon services and sanitation practices
• Proven experience in hair styling, including advanced techniques like hair extensions and coloring
• Skilled in nail care services with attention to detail in manicures and pedicures
• Expertise in eyelash extensions or lash lifts with a strong understanding of eye safety protocols
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to perform store management duties including front desk responsibilities and mentoring junior staff when needed
• Knowledge of retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism
• Strong understanding of color theory for achieving precise coloring results and client satisfaction

Pay

• Commission: High commission opportunities
• Stipend: Weekly guaranteed pay available for qualified stylists
