Location: NYC/NJ (remote-first, occasional in-office required)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive, organized Global Purchase and Sourcing Coordinator to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and ordering packaging, fixtures, merchandise, and accessories from vendors around the world (specifically Asia) —ensuring we deliver high-quality, on-brand materials on time and within budget.

This is a great opportunity to work in-house with a fast-growing clean beauty brand and gain hands-on experience managing international supplier relationships and purchasing workflows. You will work closely with our CEO & COO, and collaborate cross-functionally with our product development, design, sales and marketing teams.

Working hours are 1:00PM-5:00 PM and 9:00PM 1:00 AM ET to accommodate overseas vendor communication, with WeChat as a primary tool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and vet new vendors for product packaging, fixtures & displays, accessories, and promotional merchandise
• Communicate with overseas suppliers via WeChat and email to track orders, request samples, and resolve issues
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines to secure the best value
• Review quotes and samples to ensure quality and brand alignment
• Place purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
• Collaborate closely with operations and product development teams to understand project timelines and requirements
• Monitor and update order timelines, lead times, and shipping details
• Help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Manage relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent quality and service
• Mandatory evening hours to align with overseas vendors

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related field (experience in beauty or CPG is a plus)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in Mandarin Chinese to effectively communicate with international vendors
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with communication platforms such as WeChat
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation: $60K + bonus

Location: Hybrid — must be based in the NJ/NYC area and able to commute to our New Jersey office (when requested)

Hours: 1:00PM-5:00 PM and 9:00PM 1:00 AM ET
