To be responsible for providing high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments while maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation at all times
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General Duties
-
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Spa and the Hotel departmental policies,
service procedures and standards.

Consistently contribute to a positive work environment.

Be aware of all products/services that are offered at Asaya
-
Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and job skills, showing enthusiasm to always
increase this knowledge and that of your associates.

Ability to handle any guest/customer complaints and ensure necessary follow-up. Exercise
discretion and judgment to resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Anticipate guests’ needs, being “intuitive”, and respond promptly to their needs and acknowledge
all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Maintain company confidentiality, ensuring that business dealings within the organization are not
discussed with outside parties.
Operational Responsibilities
-
Be articulate in all operational programs and job skills, showing enthusiasm to always increase this
knowledge and that of your associates, acting as a role model to others.

Greet and consult with clients to understand their preferences and needs.

Provide personalized beauty advice and styling suggestions.
-
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and build repeat clientele.
-
Hair Services:
-
Cut,
trim, color, style, and treat hair according to client preferences and current trends
-
Recommend
hair care products and treatments
-
Stay
updated with new hair styling techniques and products
-
Nail Services:
-
Perform
manicures and pedicures, including gel and acrylic applications
-
Provide
nail art and design services
-
Ensure
proper sanitation of nail tools and equipment
-
Advise
clients on nail care and product usage
-
Apply,
remove, or touch up gel, acrylic, or shellac nails
-
Assess
nail health and determine best treatment for optimal care
-
Engage in customer consultations and provide necessary nail or hair care services
-
Build long-lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
-
Assist in the control & maintaining nail and hair studio par levels for operational stocks.

Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
-
Sterilize equipment before use
-
Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)
-
Give hand and foot massages
-
Offer nail and hair care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures
last longer)
-
Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
-
Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their
preferences)
Standard Responsibilities

Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.

Take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.

Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.

Maintain an understanding of the wellness industry and Asaya philosophy (emotional, physical,
nutrition, skin health, community.)

Understand that as a representative of Asaya they will maintain a healthy, fit appearance and a
positive attitude.

Be mindful of and active in a Spa & Wellness lifestyle, and strive to inspire wellness-focused change
in others.

Maintain personal grooming and appearance according to the standards.

Maintain a positive attitude toward guests, co-workers, subordinates, and hotel management. Avoid
engaging in gossip or any dialogue that may diminish the direction and goals of the hotel and the
hotel group.
Confidentiality
Whist working for the company there will be access to a wide variety of confidential information
concerning the company, guests and associates. It is vital that all such information remains confidential
and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the company, guests and employees, unless otherwise
stated.
Health & Safety

Be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety Act
as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at
your workplace.

The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will
be obligatory.

Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure.

Ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with
correct procedures.

Attend Statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules
concerning Fire, Health & Safety.
