Beertender

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team. As a Beertender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a memorable experience at our establishment. If you have a passion for craft beer, know about wine, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a medium to fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. In addition we welcome applicants that already have a clientele. Our goal is to have you feel right at home from day one.

Our compensation is very generous and above average since we have an hourly base rate paid biweekly; and 100% of your cash/credit card tips are paid to you at the end of every shift. We have no limits or caps on how much you can be tipped. The potential is in place for the right candidate to maximize their income.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Provide recommendations on beer selections based on customer preferences

- Pour and serve beers with precision and attention to detail

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations

- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers

- Maintain knowledge of current beer offerings, including styles, flavors, and brewing processes

- Engage with customers, answer questions about beers, and provide information about our brewery

Requirements:

- Previous bartending experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred

- Strong cash handling skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale system

- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely

- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service to customers

- Willingness to assist other team members as needed

- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene protocols

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
