Responsibilities

• Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, sports, games, and educational projects
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies
• Assist with homework help, tutoring, or skill-building exercises tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Implement safety protocols such as first aid procedures when necessary to address minor injuries or emergencies
• Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, babysitting, or early childhood education is highly desirable
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and collaborate with school personnel
• Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for nurturing children's growth through creative play, learning support, and Christian counseling (if applicable)
