About the Role:

The Belt Fabricator plays a critical role in the manufacturing and assembly of conveyor belts and related products, ensuring they meet precise specifications and quality standards. This position involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to cut, assemble, and finish belts used in various industrial applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to optimize fabrication processes and maintain equipment. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to deliver durable and reliable products. Ultimately, the Belt Fabricator contributes to the efficiency and success of manufacturing operations by producing high-quality belts that support diverse industrial needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in belt fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industrial trade.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and fabrication machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in manufacturing, industrial fabrication, or a related field.
  • Experience working with conveyor belt materials such as rubber, fabric, or metal components.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate conveyor belts accurately.
  • Cut, splice, and assemble belt materials using hand tools and machinery according to production requirements.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve production processes.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of materials used and products completed.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
