We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join the firm. This position serves as the primary point of contact on the firm’s internal Benefits Helpline. The Benefits Coordinator is also a key player in assisting with the benefits department’s communications and compliance strategies.
Primary Duties
Answer questions and provide timely answers to the benefits questions posed by firm personnel to the firm’s internal Benefits Helpline via email and phone
Coordinate with both internal and external contacts to research any benefits-related issues that arise
Pay invoices
Perform internal functions for onboarding new employees and personnel departing the firm, and send required notices
In coordination with management, administer all aspects of the firm’s Wellness Program, including but not limited to the annual Wellness Incentive Program, gym partnership agreements, and wellness subsidies
Administer all aspects of the firm’s HIPAA training program
In coordination with management, administer the day-to-day aspects of the firm’s service awards program, including communications and taxability reports
Audit weekly reports from the firm’s Human Resources Management System (HRIS) to ensure compliance with fully insured plans and accurate eligibility status of firm personnel with benefits vendors
In coordination with management, draft firm communications from the Benefits Department and track communications sent from internal and external sources
In coordination with management, administer ACA compliance tasks including but not limited to monthly 1095-C reconciliation
Assist others in the department with processing benefits changes in the firm’s HRIS system (PeopleSoft)
Secondary Duties
Ability to:
Maintain confidentiality with partner and employee information
Handle difficult situations with tact, empathy, and professionalism
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines while completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Compensation Salary $63,000 - $95,000
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
