Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Assist supervisor to administer benefit programs through data entry and analysis across all systems: Benefitfocus Benefits Administration platform, Workday, UKG payroll, and carriers.

  • Assist in handling all compliance reporting efforts including audits, data clean-ups, etc.

  • Ensure SPDs are delivered and distributed.

  • Serve as the project leader for Annual ACA reporting and filing. This includes quarterly review of data from Benefits Administration vendor.

  • Load weekly benefit data files and perform reconciliation process with the payroll team.

  • Provide monthly and year end reports to accounting; resolve any discrepancies with plan administrator or payroll system.

  • Maintain leave tracking and accurate leave data across all systems, including benefit premium deductions to be collected or reimbursed. Work with Local HR to support the employee.

  • Assist with medical support notices, former employee pension inquiries, and life insurance claims.

  • Review termination reports for LTD/Death/Layoffs and process COBRA subsidy as needed. Support supervisor with all facets of year end processes, including data load and enrollment audits

  • Process benefit invoices using reporting capabilities within Benefit Administration site. Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing.

  • Manage the Employes Wellness program, serving as the main contact from the plan administrators and Wellness Leaders. Lead Wellness Challenges, encourage participation, and track rewards.

  • Monitor the shared HR Operations email inbox and phone.

  • Work on special projects as assigned. May participate in audits of division benefits program to ensure compliance. Support supervisor with all facets of open enrollment, including auditing of communications and system testing.

What you will bring along:

  • Two years of experience with benefits at the corporate level and handling of employee inquiries.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve employee issues.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask

  • Detail oriented with exceptional attention to accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences

  • Experience with Benefitfocus, UKG, and Workday is preferred.
