Who We Are: Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations. Job Summary: The Sales Representative will oversee the company’s beverage sales activities within a defined territory. The salary for this position depends on experience. Duties/Responsibilities:
Pitch the entire company’s portfolio of products in an assigned territory.
Monitors existing accounts inventory and orders, communicating regularly with primary contacts for the account.
Works to establish new accounts in the territory.
Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Director of Sales.
Stay up to date on new products and the changing needs of the market.
Provide support to the category management team in regards to executing resets, drawing of schematics, and selling new schematics to key customers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Proven beverage sales experience preferred.
In-depth product and industry knowledge, with a dedication to continuous improvement.
Self-motivated, with demonstrated leadership and professionalism.
Quick-thinking and adaptable—able to resolve challenges effectively.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record with no major violations.
Must be able to lift, move, and merchandise cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Work independently across multiple retail locations, traveling between accounts throughout the day.
