Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will oversee the company’s beverage sales activities within a defined territory.
The salary for this position depends on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Pitch the entire company’s portfolio of products in an assigned territory.
  • Monitors existing accounts inventory and orders, communicating regularly with primary contacts for the account.
  • Works to establish new accounts in the territory.
  • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Director of Sales.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales & service.
  • Stay up to date on new products and the changing needs of the market.
  • Provide support to the category management team in regards to executing resets, drawing of schematics, and selling new schematics to key customers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
  • Proven beverage sales experience preferred.
  • In-depth product and industry knowledge, with a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated, with demonstrated leadership and professionalism.
  • Quick-thinking and adaptable—able to resolve challenges effectively.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Must be able to lift, move, and merchandise cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work independently across multiple retail locations, traveling between accounts throughout the day.
