Bi-lingual English/Spanish HR Representative

This role works behind the scenes to support and interact with our team, ensure & coordinate Imperial's complying with policies, procedures and applicable regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in Hiring processes, new hire paperwork & orientation of policies
  • Conduct background checks, such as DMV, history, drug testing, criminal records
  • Assist with ads for recruitment
  • Monitor and assist in personnel issues & disciplinary actions
  • Assist & Manage Employee Relation issues
  • Manage unemployment claims
  • Maintain human resources system
  • Assist with enrollments and records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401K, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
  • Assist in exit process for terminations
  • Assist in workers’ compensation claims, coordinate with carrier
  • Assist and manage policy and procedure manuals & compliance, advise department managers of company policy
  • Coordinate job descriptions
  • Assist in compensation Issues & wage surveys
  • Guide & Assist regulatory compliance, such as ADA, EEOC, FMLA, and others
  • Employment verifications
  • Manage I-9 compliance
  • Assist & Coordinate Company sponsored events/parties
  • Assist with record keeping such as employee photos, driver’s license, etc.
  • Run weekly reports & assist with payroll
  • Assist with employee’s questions or concerns
  • Weekly/Monthly/Yearly reports for payroll or HR
  • Coordinate CDL driver qualifications, Run MVR checks

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Proven relationship builder with positive interpersonal skills
  • Bi-lingual English & Spanish
  • Excellent listening, time management, and communication skills
  • Accountability for individual success within a team environment
  • Attention to detail and record keeping
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Excel
  • 4 + years of experience in HR
