Bid Manager - German Speaking

The Bid Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end‑to‑end bid process to secure new business opportunities. This role ensures that all proposals are strategically aligned, competitively positioned, and delivered on time with high quality. The Bid Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, and Delivery teams to develop winning proposals and support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management & Coordination

• Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle from qualification to submission.
• Facilitate bid kick-off meetings and ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather content, pricing, and solution details.
• Ensure all proposal documents meet corporate standards, customer requirements, and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with internal approval processes (legal, finance, management).

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure alignment on solution design and commercial terms.
• Act as the main point of contact for all bid-related communications.
• Manage expectations of senior leadership regarding bid progress and outcomes.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all bids meet customer requirements, RFP guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Maintain a library of templates, case studies, CVs, and standard proposal content.
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions to improve future bid performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, or similar roles.
• Experience working in technology, consulting, digital services, or complex project environments is a plus.
