Bike Mechanic

The Bike Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of company bikes (including motorcycles, e-bikes, and bicycles used for last mile deliveries) to ensure safety, reliability, and maximum fleet uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and servicing of delivery bikes (engine checks, brakes, tires, oil, batteries, chains, and safety components).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles and bicycles/e-bikes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend vehicle life.
• Ensure all bikes comply with UAE road safety and RTA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts usage, and service schedules.
• Manage spare parts inventory and report procurement needs.
• Provide on-site support for breakdowns to minimize delivery disruptions.
• Assist in periodic fleet audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop.
• Coordinate with operations and fleet managers to schedule timely servicing.
• Installation of Delivery Boxes.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Bike Mechanic (preferably in delivery or logistics companies).
• Strong knowledge of motorcycle/bicycle mechanics, electronics, and repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Valid UAE motorcycle license preferred (for test rides).
• Basic communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi/Urdu).

Education & Experience

• High School (Should be able to Read and Write in English)
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in bike/motorcycle repair and maintenance.
• Experience in fleet maintenance for delivery/logistics companies is desirable.
