Bilingual (Japanese and English) Engineer - Automotive Industry

A manufacturing company located in Fort Recovery, OH is looking for a bilingual (Japanese and English) engineer to join their team. They mainly supply their products to all major OEMs in North America.

For this position, we are looking for engineers who are interested in custom tooling, automation designs, and robotic welding. You will collaborate with other engineers to design and create models, test and analyze.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Ensure product performance reliability and conformance to customer specifications.
• Maintain awareness of budget and schedule commitments during the design cycle.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions effectively.
• Offer expertise to customers and apply them to our product designs
• Prepare technical documents outlining customer use and defining the technical solution in support of sales.
• Prepare reports that document product issues that can be used for future product improvements.
• Analyze customer needs and provide tailored recommendations based on their specific requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
• Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Work closely with engineering teams to relay customer feedback for product improvement.
• Other duties assigned by your managers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years working or internship, a co-op in the automotive, machinery, or manufacturing industry.
• Has some Japanese language skill and cultural understanding
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must be US citizen or permanent resident of US (Because we cannot sponsor any immigration visa for this position)
• This position includes working in manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
