Bilingual Preschool Lead Teacher – Dual Language Immersion (Spanish/English)

Saint Ambrose Dual Language Catholic School is seeking a Bilingual Preschool Lead Teacher for our growing two-way dual language immersion program. Our program provides 50% instruction in English and 50% in Spanish, allowing students to develop bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding in a faith-filled academic environment.

The Preschool Lead Teacher works closely with a bilingual instructional assistant and collaborates daily with the Dual Language teaching team to plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with early childhood development and dual language best practices. Teachers in our program are part of a highly collaborative professional culture that values shared leadership, thoughtful planning, and joyful learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate preschool instruction in a dual language immersion environment

• Collaborate closely with the dual language team to ensure alignment across classrooms

• Foster a joyful and structured learning environment rooted in Catholic values

• Support students’ language development, social-emotional growth, and early academic skills

• Participate actively in coaching cycles, team planning, and professional development

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English

• Experience teaching in early childhood or preschool settings

• Strong classroom management and a nurturing presence with young learners

• Interest in dual language education and bilingual development

• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
