Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Measurement
- Prepare running account (RA) bills, interim bills, and final bills based on site measurements.
- Verify BOQ quantities and reconcile them with actual executed work.
- Maintain measurement books (MB) and ensure accuracy of recorded quantities.
- Coordinate with site engineers for daily progress and measurements.
Cost & Contract Management
- Assist in budget monitoring and cost control of the project.
- Track extra items, deviations, and variations and prepare supporting documentation.
- Review contract terms related to billing, payment milestones, and retention.
- Support preparation of variation claims and escalation claims if applicable.
Client & Subcontractor Billing
- Prepare and submit client invoices in line with contract terms.
- Verify and process subcontractor bills and vendor invoices.
- Follow up with clients for payment certifications and collections.
- Coordinate with accounts and finance teams for payment status.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain billing records, abstracts, and reconciliation statements.
- Prepare monthly billing reports, cost statements, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and project close-out.
- Assist in final account settlement at project completion.
Skills & Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience as a Billing Engineer in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD
- Experience with ERP/software (e.g., SAP, Primavera, Candy, or similar) is an advantage
