Job Summary

As a Billing Engineer, you will manage the billing and cost tracking aspects of construction projects verifying quantities, preparing bills, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing according to contractual terms. You play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and transparency.

Core Responsibilities

 Prepare and submit interim (RA) and final bills to clients in line with contract terms

 Verify site work quantities in coordination with site engineers, ensuring alignment with BOQ and drawings

 Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity sheets, and billing schedules

 Conduct rate analysis for extra items and manage billing reconciliation, including variation claims

 Liaise with procurement, accounts, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and follow up on payments

 Maintain accurate consolidated billing records and support MIS/reporting for senior management review

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

 Around 3 years of professional experience in billing, estimation, or related roles within the construction industry

 Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with billing.

 Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and working with construction drawings

 High attention to detail, analytical abilities, and strong record-keeping skills Effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
