Billing Executive

Fu Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Executive to manage billing operations within an energy efficiency company. The role involves handling invoicing related to energy projects, monitoring consumption-based billing, and ensuring financial accuracy in line with contracts and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on energy consumption, contracts, and project milestones
• Reconcile billing data with project reports and financial records
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to validate billing inputs
• Manage accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain billing records and documentation for audits
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in billing/accounting (experience in energy/utilities sector preferred)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite Preferred )
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with energy performance contracts (EPC) or ESCO billing models
• Understanding of energy consumption metrics (kWh, BTU, etc.)
• Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency projects
• Ability to work with large datasets and technical reports
• Ability to speak both Arabic and English is mandatory
