Billing Specialist

In this role, you will maintain and expand on the excellent foundation that has been developed over the successful history of our clinic.

This is a full-time Monday – Friday in-person position in our Randolph, NJ office.

Main Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an AlliedOP employee will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review and processing of orthotic and prosthetic healthcare claims submitted to insurance payors, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, and hospital facilities.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBS) and post payments to be applied to claims submitted to the insurance payors noted above, among others.
• Assist in the appeal, review, or correction of denied or improperly paid claims.
• Coordinate and collaborate with clinical staff and management regarding insurance regulatory and compliance developments to assist in the development of best clinical practices.
• Other responsibilities consistent with the position outlined above as assigned by management from time to time.

Position Requirements

• High School / GED Diploma
• Attention to details and teamwork
• Ability to learn, problem-solve and communicate effectively
• 2+ years of billing experience (preferred)
