THE POSITION

PYXiS Software is seeking an energetic, independent and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our Contour office The position offered is to prepare AR billing for several companies within PYXiS, each business unit is treated individually yet with the same attention and priority. The role requires an individual that has functional/technical skills as well as excellent command of time management. We are looking for someone who possesses Integrity and trust with the intellectual horsepower to be adaptable to multiple software systems, is an enthusiastic energetic quick learner with a positive approach to constant change whilst having the capability to have composure under stressful times, tight deadlines and when unexpected demands are requested.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Billing Lead, the core responsibilities of the position are as follows:

• Co-ordinate and prepare invoices, credit memos, and refunds for all activity related to multiple Jonas divisions.

• Ensure that contract specifications are up-to-date and procedures are followed

• Track changes to invoices and provide statistics to analysts

• Preparing various reports and spreadsheets related to billing and receivables

• Maintaining customer records including contact information, purchase history, account status, and other data

• Review and resolve inconsistencies.

• Assisting with Ad Hoc requests such as information for audits

• Other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.

• 02 years’ experience of Accounts Receivable & Billing (preferred)

• Maintain a high level of professionalism while working with clients (external and internal)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Highly proficient at multitasking

• Willing to work in a very fast paced, high volume environment

• Must be comfortable taking initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision

• Proven ability to work as part of a team

• Be able to work within strict timelines

• Must be detail oriented

• Flexibility to work overtime at critical periods

• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Intermediate in Excel

• Microsoft Great Plains knowledge a plus

• Strong overall computer skills

• College degree with a focus on accounting
