Job Summary:
Archnetix Private Limited is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our team .

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Model and Drawing Production

  • Develop detailed and accurate 3D BIM models, CAD sheets, and PDF drawings from point clouds and other data sources.
  • Ensure all models and drawings adhere to company drafting standards and project specifications.

2. BIM Execution & Standards Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in line with client and company requirements.
  • Define and enforce naming conventions, file structures, and data exchange protocols.

3. Data & Model Management

  • Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms (BIM 360, ACC, Aconex, ProjectWise, etc.) for version control and access permissions.
  • Oversee model federation, clash detection, and resolution workflows using tools such as Navisworks or Solibri.

4. Coordination & Integration

  • Lead multi-disciplinary model coordination meetings, documenting issues and tracking resolutions.
  • Integrate point cloud scans, survey data, and GIS data into BIM workflows.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.

5. Training and Standard Compliance

  • Stay updated with company BIM standards and apply them across all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and project-specific BIM requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff in 2D, 3D, and BIM workflows.

6. Quality Control (QA/QC)

  • Review and approve BIM models and drawings to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on federated models and drawings before submission.

7. Process Optimization & Automation

  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities and implement automation scripts (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper).
  • Recommend new tools and technologies to enhance productivity.

8. Compliance & Documentation

  • Stay current with training materials to thoroughly understand and apply the company's drafting and BIM standards.
  • Maintain documentation for BIM-related audits and QA reviews.

9. Asset & Lifecycle Data Management

  • Prepare BIM data for handover to Facility Management teams, ensuring COBie or other asset data requirements are met.
  • Support digital twin workflows when applicable.

10. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve BIM-related queries.
  • Present BIM workflows, progress updates, and coordination status in meetings.

11. Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential coordination risks early and propose effective solutions.
  • Maintain and track a BIM issue log for all projects.

12. Project Oversight & Reporting

  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to managers and stakeholders on project progress.
  • Attend and/or lead BIM-related meetings as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of 10 or more BIM Modelers.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit; strong knowledge of BIM workflows and tools.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of professional experience in BIM coordination and modeling.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company BIM standards and industry best practices
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary project coordination across architecture, structure, and MEP.
  • Proficiency with CDE platforms (BIM 360, ACC, Aconex, ProjectWise) and coordination tools (Navisworks, Solibri).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
