BIM Coordinator

Our Multi National Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant BIM Coordinator to join their team in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to work on high profile hospitality, residential and mix use projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a BIM Coordinator for large scale projects in the GCC and have worked for a recognised consultancy client

These roles is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the Client’s exchange information requirements are responded to and delivered against.
• Support the Project Delivery Design Teams in day to day BIM implementation activities.
• Contribute to checking the delivery team’s electronic document management system (EDMS) is configured to fulfil the workflow and rules of the common data environment (CDE).
• Provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members.
• Contribute to creating and developing information management resources such as the BIM execution plan, detailed responsibility matrix, exchange information requirements, and master information delivery plan.
• Perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models and maintain a tracker to confirm geometrical and nongeometrical information compliance with the Project's design and BIM requirements.
• Review and maintain openBIM Standards deliverables such as IFC, COBie, etc.
• Review, monitor, and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models.
• Experience in data management and reporting tools such as MS Power BI.
• Background about Proving Ground and Vcad tools is preferred.
