BIM coordinator

Required For Saudi Arabia

The BIM Coordinator will oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across contracting projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region. This role ensures seamless integration of design, engineering, and construction data, supporting project delivery in compliance with local standards and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Implementation: Manage BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Model Coordination: Oversee federated models, detect clashes, and coordinate between disciplines (MEP, structural, architectural).
• Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to Saudi building codes, GCC BIM guidelines, and ISO 19650 standards.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate digital records, drawings, and asset information throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve BIM-related issues.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
• Reporting: Generate BIM progress reports, clash detection summaries, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5+ years of BIM coordination experience in contracting projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, Saudi building codes, and GCC construction standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
