Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Engineer to join our team!

Parsons is to be engaged as the construction supervision consultant responsible for inspecting the works, overseeing delivery in compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.

• Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.

• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

• May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.

• May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.

• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in BIM Implementation on Infrastructure Utilities Projects

• Experience either from a Consultant or Contractor Environment on Infrastructure Projects

• Experience with ISO and UK BIM Standards

• Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Revit, Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Cost X, Synchro, BIM 360 / ACC, ProjectWise etc.

• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential

• Possess excellent oral communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with Project Delivery Team, Client (Appointing Party), and Contractor (Lead Appointed Party) under time pressure.

• Possess the ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.
