BIM Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced BIM Manager with an Architectural background to lead BIM initiatives across our projects. The ideal candidate will oversee BIM coordination, ensure compliance with standards, and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, clash-free, and constructible designs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in managing BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining the BIM governance framework for the project.
• Preparation, implementation, updating, and enforcement of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in accordance with the EIR.
• Acting as the Information Manager, ensuring structured management, exchange, and approval of information throughout the project
• lifecycle.
• Defining BIM workflows, standards, modeling methodologies, and QA/QC procedures in line with the approved QA/QC Plan.
• Managing and approving the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs).
• Ensuring compliance with BIM Uses including 3D coordination, 4D planning, 5D cost integration, COBie, and Asset Information Models AIM).
• Coordinating BIM activities with PWA / Engineer, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Overseeing multidisciplinary coordination and approving clash detection strategies and resolution processes.
• Ensuring delivery of models at required LOD and LOI at all project stages.
• Managing BIM-related training, documentation, and knowledge transfer within the project team.
• Reviewing and approving BIM deliverables prior to submission to the Engineer.
• Ensuring all BIM personnel meet the qualification, certification, and registration requirements stipulated in the EIR.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Engineering, architecture) from recognized institute.
• 13-15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a BIM managerial role.
• Proven expertise in Architectural BIM modeling and coordination on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration platforms.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods, architectural detailing, and BIM standards.
• Experience in Qatar or GCC construction projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR13,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
