Position Title

BIM Manager (Building Information Modeling Manager)

Position Summary

A BIM Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing BIM standards, processes, and digital workflows across construction or architectural projects. They ensure efficient collaboration between architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders using BIM technology throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Strategy & Implementation

Develop and maintain company-wide BIM standards and protocols

Create and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP)

Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 19650, etc.)

Lead BIM adoption and digital transformation initiatives

2. Project Coordination

Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models (architecture, structure, MEP)

Oversee clash detection and resolution processes

Facilitate coordination meetings and issue tracking

Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms

3. Technical Leadership

Administer BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Archicad, etc.)

Develop templates, libraries, and parametric families

Provide technical support and troubleshooting

Automate workflows using Dynamo, Python, or other tools

4. Team Management & Training

Train project teams on BIM standards and tools

Mentor BIM Coordinators and Modelers

Evaluate team performance and resource allocation

5. Quality Control & Data Management

Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and data integrity

Conduct model audits and quality checks

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Experience

9-10+ years in AEC industry

3+ years in BIM leadership or coordination role

Technical Skills

Proficiency in:

Autodesk Revit

Navisworks

AutoCAD

BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud

Strong knowledge of:

ISO 19650 standards

Clash detection

LOD (Level of Development) standards

Model coordination workflows

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Problem-solving mindset

Ability to manage multiple projects

Strategic thinking

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dynamo or scripting

Experience in large-scale infrastructure or high-rise projects

Knowledge of digital twins and 4D/5D BIM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
