Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the digital engineering discipline across one or more projects, setting clear project goals, objectives, and priorities aligned with project milestones, and Appointing Party's objectives and requirements.
  2. Standardize and optimize digital engineering processes, workflows, and methodologies across projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  3. Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, software licenses, and hardware, to support digital engineering activities and meet project demands, and ensure resource allocation aligns with project requirements and budget constraints to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
  4. Serve as the primary technical lead for digital engineering activities, software, and methodologies, providing expert guidance, support, and training to project and / or discipline teams.
  5. Establish and enforce quality assurance and control processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of digital engineering deliverables with project standards, specifications, and industry codes.
  6. Manage the discipline task teams to deliver high quality information, data and models to the Appointing Party and ensuring alignment with project Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) and project objectives.
  7. Implement the internal Responsibility matrix within each project and/or discipline to ensure proper adherence to project timelines.
  8. Identify opportunities for automation, integration, and adoption of emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  9. Engage and collaborate with project teams, clients, stakeholders, and senior management to understand project requirements, challenges, and priorities.
  10. Configure, maintain, and administer the project CDE (Common Data Environment) to enable the effective management, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables.
  11. Develop and implement technical development programs, initiatives, and training to build and enhance digital engineering capabilities within the organization.
  12. Ensure the implementation of open BIM standards such as IFC (buildingSMART) and international standards such as BS EN ISO 19650 or PAS1192 series.
  13. Ability to meet challenging deadlines and effectively delegate tasks to staff in cooperation with Digital Engineering Managers. Prioritize tasks and allocate resources to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  14. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and challenges associated with digital engineering activities, ensuring proactive measures are in place to minimize disruptions to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  15. Lead periodic technical and BIM meetings to ensure proper communication and collaboration across project and/or discipline task teams.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical.
  2. Proven experience 10 years in BIM implementation and management within the construction industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge and proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and related technologies.
  4. Experience working on Autodesk ACC.
  5. Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs), and project management software
  6. Strong understanding of digital engineering principles standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650).
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and challenges associated with digital engineering activities
  9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
