Role Summary
Responsible for the effective management, maintenance, calibration, and safety of all medical equipment across the hospital. Ensures compliance with hospital standards, NABH guidelines, and supports clinical teams with timely technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities1. Equipment Maintenance & Management
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of all biomedical equipment as per schedule.
- Ensure uptime of critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, anaesthesia workstations, OT lights/tables, etc.).
- Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, calibration certificates, AMC/CMC records.
2. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for service calls, calibration, spare parts procurement.
- Negotiate and manage AMC/CMC agreements and ensure timely renewal.
3. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NABH, AERB, and internal quality standards.
- Support during internal/external audits with required documentation.
- Maintain records for radiation equipment, safety checks, and licensing.
4. Equipment Installation & Commissioning
- Inspect, install, test, and commission new equipment.
- Assist in equipment acceptance testing and user training.
- Verify PPM schedules provided by vendors.
5. Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain updated asset registry and equipment history (ECRI codes if applicable).
- Track warranty, AMC status, end-of-life planning, and asset replacement suggestions.
6. User Training & Support
- Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on safe and effective use of equipment.
- Provide quick troubleshooting and on-call technical support during critical procedures.
7. Safety & Quality
- Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and calibration as per hospital requirements.
- Ensure adherence to electrical and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering (mandatory).
- 4–5 years of hospital biomedical experience (multispeciality preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ICU, OT, Cath Lab, Diagnostics, and Radiology equipment.
- Good understanding of NABH and hospital compliance documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure clinical environments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
