BIW Lead Engineer

• Mechanical Engineer with overall experience of 6 to 8 yrs in Passenger Car

•In depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly

•Strong experience in UG NX , Parametric Modelling, surface modelling

•Experience in Manufacturing & Joining techniques of BIW structures

• Concept generation of the BIW components using CAD design & develop BIW panels for the automotive industry

•Ability to create Master sections

•Ability to interpret results of Structural, Static & Dynamic, manufacturing simulations for BIW Components

•In depth knowledge of DFMA, manufacturing feasibility, tooling feasibility of BIW components

•Knowledge on materials, FMEA, GD&T and Stack Up analysis

• Team center knowledge is a must

•Cost Optimization Ideas on the components and assembly.

•Cost Optimization Ideas on the components and assembly.

•Involving in design reviews and packaging reviews for solutions and quick actions

•Aware of prototyping activities and builds

•Understanding the requirement of the program and managing the deliverables accordingly

handling project plan and the team

•Co-ordination with cross functional team
