About MBRDI:
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Our mission is to drive innovation and excellence in automotive engineering, digitalization, and sustainable mobility solutions, shaping the future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop concepts for Body in White (BIW) projects aligned with product development milestones and cross-functional requirements.
- Provide extended support for BIW projects by delivering innovative solutions and concepts through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop components using Siemens NX following defined methodologies and document deliverables in the PLM system for downstream processes.
- Create, document, and archive all necessary joining elements adhering to established methodologies.
- Address manufacturing, assembly, and tolerance requirements, supporting release management activities.
- Ensure effective communication with business partners and actively share innovation and knowledge within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong domain knowledge of Body in White (BIW) processes and vehicle development systems.
- Expertise in joining elements, manufacturing, tolerance, and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX for part construction and working knowledge of PLM systems.
- Experience in information gathering, benchmarking, and applying Daimler methodologies, systems, and processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High team spirit, learning attitude, and a driven-to-win mindset.
- Exposure to intercultural collaboration and familiarity with the German language is a plus.
Qualifikationen
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline from reputed institutions.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Experience working with Daimler methodologies and global cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to intercultural aspects, especially German language skills.
