Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress in clients’ lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, special education, and applied behavior analysis (ABA), with a passion for improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Duties
- Design and supervise individualized behavioral therapy programs tailored to clients’ needs, focusing on skill development and reducing maladaptive behaviors.
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations, utilizing clinical observations, data collection, and standardized tools.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide direct patient care by implementing ABA strategies during therapy sessions with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate intake processes for new clients by conducting initial assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians or paraprofessionals supporting client interventions.
- Ensure all interventions adhere to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or adults with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and related fields such as special education or behavioral health.
- Experience with data collection, patient assessment, and developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining compliance with privacy standards such as HIPAA.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Prior experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations, performing intake assessments, and managing behavioral health cases is preferred.
