Preferred Qualifications


Role Purpose

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for providing services to patients with developmental and/or behavioral difficulties. In this role, the BCBA will collect and analyze data to develop, monitor, and evaluate behavioral treatment plans. The BCBA will also provide consultation and training to families and professionals, as well as collaborate with other professionals to develop effective treatment plans. The BCBA will work collaboratively with the treatment team to address challenging behaviors, identify replacement behaviors resulting in a reduction in workplace violence events.


Responsibilities

  • Partners with CPI team to help support behavioral escalations, as appropriate.
  • Conduct functional assessments to identify the antecedents, behaviors and consequences of behavior.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans, including strategies for teaching new skills.
  • Provide consultation to families, caregivers and other professionals.
  • Collect and analyze data as directed.
  • BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Master's Degree
  • Psychology/related

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Licenses & Certifications

  • Board Cert. Beh. Analyst
