Board Secretary

Our client, a Non-Profit Organization based in Abu Dhabi , is seeking a highly capable Board Secretary to provide governance, coordination, and executive-level support to its Board of Directors and Advisory Board.


This is a full-time, permanent role that requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to operate in high-level, international environments.


Key Responsibilities:


Board Management

  • Organize Board and Advisory Board meetings (logistics, agendas, minutes, follow-ups)
  • Ensure governance documentation and compliance processes are in place
  • Support Board member onboarding and ongoing engagement


Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with senior leadership, government entities, and global advisors
  • Prepare strategic briefings and handle confidential materials


Operational & Logistical Support

  • Manage calendars, records, and coordination for both in-person and virtual convenings


Candidate Profile:

  • 5–7 years’ experience as a Board Secretary
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or governance certification is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English (Arabic/French an advantage)
  • High level of professionalism, cultural fluency, and service orientation
  • Strong experience in executive coordination, governance, or legal/board administration
  • Ability to confidently engage with C-suite or government stakeholders
  • Background in international organizations, public-private platforms, or high-level forums is highly desirable
