Boat Captain

Scope of Work

We are looking for a skilled Boat Captain to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vessels up to 12 meters in length, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew, and maintaining the vessel in excellent condition. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime safety and navigation along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

-Operating and navigating commercial boats up to 24 meters, ensuring compliance with maritime laws and safety regulations.
-Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew members while on board.Conducting regular vessel maintenance checks and ensuring readiness for operations.
-Managing the docking, mooring, and navigational duties under varying weather conditions.
-Maintaining accurate logs and records of trips, vessel maintenance, and any incidents.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Required Certifications: Valid FTA up to 12 meters commercial boat license, STCW certification, and Seaman book.
-Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Boat Captain or in a similar maritime role.
-Language Requirement: Fluency in both Hindi and English.
-Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and navigation procedures.-Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to stay calm and make decisions quickly in emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Commercial Boat Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• 12 Meter Commercial FTA License (Preferred)
