Boat Captain

Position: Boat Captain.

Department: 5- Star Resort-Water Sports Division

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Boat Captain to join our dynamic water sports division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boats, ensuring the enjoyable and secure experience of our guests.

Responsibilities:

Safely navigate and operate various types of boats according to maritime regulations and company procedures.

Ensure the safety of all passengers and crew on board.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vessel, including engines, equipment, and safety gear.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the boat; report any major issues promptly.

Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients.

Adhere to all local maritime laws and regulations in Bahrain.

Maintain accurate logs and records as required.

Assist with other water sports activities and tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must possess a valid Boat Captain license issued by the relevant authorities in Bahrain.

Proven experience as a Boat Captain, preferably in a water sports or tourism setting.

Strong knowledge of boat operations, navigation, and safety procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor boat issues.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
