Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our team at a vibrant café. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash register transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients, reporting shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment.
• Experience with POS systems and cash register operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is a plus, but not required.
