Position Summary
The Boiler Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure continuous and efficient steam supply for plant operations. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of boiler systems, preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain steam boilers, compressors, and related equipment.
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels for proper operation.
- Conduct daily inspections, log reports, and water quality checks.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
- Troubleshoot operational faults and ensure minimal downtime.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, and energy efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams during shutdowns.
Qualifications & Experience
- DAE (Mechanical / Power / Chemical Technology) or Boiler Engineering Certificate.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating industrial boilers in a manufacturing setup.
- Valid Boiler Engineer License (Class I or II) preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC-based control systems is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and ISO standards.
