Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience to join our Rawalpindi office. This is a strictly office-based role, working UK business hours, supporting UK-based clients.

The successful candidate must have strong hands-on experience using Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks, and be comfortable working to UK accounting and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for UK-based clients
• Processing sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expenses
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate ledgers and audit trails
• Preparing UK VAT returns and supporting schedules
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Supporting senior accountants and managers
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and UK deadlines

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
• Experience with UK VAT
• Comfortable working UK hours from Pakistan
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a structured, office-based environment

Desirable (But Not Essential)

• AAT or equivalent qualification/ ACCA Part Qualified
• Practice-based experience
• CIS knowledge
• Payroll exposure
• Experience supporting UK clients

Working Conditions

• Location: Rawalpindi office only
• Hours: UK business hours (GMT/BST)
• Remote / Hybrid: Not permitted
