Cornerstone Automation is a locally owned family run company in business since 1996. We are seeking to fill a full-time bookkeeping position. The ideal candidate for this position should be flexible, able to multi-task, a team player, organized, and dependable. The bookkeeper will report directly to ownership.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Recording Transactions: Recording daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and expenses, in the ledger.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank and credit card statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Tracking and paying vendor invoices and bills.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generating customer invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, and ensuring timely employee payments.
  • Month-End Close: Reviewing ledgers for accuracy and preparing the trial balance.
  • Document Management: Organizing receipts, invoices, and financial documents.
  • Processing new employees onboarding
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Helpful Skills & Experience:

  • Software: Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in tracking transactions and spotting errors.
  • Data Entry: High-speed and accurate data entry skills.
  • Time Management: Meeting deadlines for payroll and financial reporting
  • AIA Contract Billing
  • Notary Public

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
