<Responsibilities>
- Manage and record all accounting transactions using accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and handle payroll functions efficiently.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Support budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and assisting with financial report writing for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable.
- Assist with tax preparation activities and maintain detailed documentation of all financial transactions.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms..
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations relevant to a corporate entities.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a solid grasp of financial concepts such as budgeting, account analysis, and technical accounting procedures.
