Harbor Home Cleaners is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to help organize, clean up, and manage our financials.

We’re a growing residential cleaning company and need someone who can take ownership of our books, identify gaps, and recommend a clear system moving forward.

This role will start with a review and cleanup of our current books, then transition into ongoing monthly support.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and clean up existing financial records
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Prepare and deliver monthly profit & loss statements
  • Help organize and standardize bookkeeping processes
  • Assist with contractor payment tracking (currently paid via Zelle)
  • Ensure books are accurate, organized, and fully prepared for tax filing
  • Coordinate with our tax professional as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Intermediate to expert-level bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working with service-based businesses preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Ability to assess needs and recommend scope of work independently
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bonus: Ability to assist with or file business taxes

Compensation:

  • Open to hourly or fixed monthly proposals based on scope
