Bookkeeper – Premier Pool Management

Position Summary
Premier Pool Management is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to support the company’s financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. The Bookkeeper will regularly handle confidential financial and employee information and is expected to demonstrate the highest level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness
  • Support and adhere to internal controls, identifying and escalating discrepancies or irregularities as needed with reporting to accounting department manager
  • Assist with budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis as directed by the accounting manager and/or leadership team
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements

Systems & Tools

  • Utilize accounting and payroll systems such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office or similar platforms
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems and ensure proper system controls and access protocols

Confidentiality and Compliance
This position requires strict adherence to confidentiality standards in handling sensitive financial data, payroll information, and employee records. The Bookkeeper must comply with all company policies related to data security, privacy, and ethical conduct, and support compliance with applicable labor laws and financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or 2 years equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting operations
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and/or standard bookkeeping practices
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and payroll systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
