Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1 Multiple Bank reconciliations for depository accounts

2 Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; reviewing for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries, as needed

3 General ledger maintenance

4 Administration of quarterly business and payroll taxes

5 Prepare monthly financial statements

6 Maintain required business documents

7 Assist with preparing W-2' and 1099's.

8 Assistance with the annual budget and audit process

9 Maintain financial document retention .

10 Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies

11 Deposit and cash reports.

12 Perform other related duties as may be requested by the Administrative Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equilavent experience.

2. Proficient in accounting software (3 years minimum experience)

3. Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office

5. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment

6. Highly organized and detail oriented 7. Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision

8. Strong verbal and written communication skills

9. Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment

10. Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts of the Authority

11. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality

13. Strong organizational skills

REPORTS TO: Administrative Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,224.19 - $110,431.28 per year
