The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to manage the financial heartbeat of our operations. You will ensure that every transaction—from complex construction draws to recurring service subscriptions—is recorded with absolute accuracy. This role is ideal for a financial professional who thrives in an organized, detail-oriented environment and understands the nuances of project-based accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments for active construction sites and oversee billing for our subscription home management clients.
  • Project Costing: Track expenses against project budgets to provide real-time visibility into construction costs.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations across multiple accounts to ensure financial integrity.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reports for review by the leadership team and the CFO.
  • Compliance: Maintain organized digital filings for all receipts, invoices, and tax-related documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction, real estate, or high-end service industries.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with high-net-worth vendors and internal teams.
  • Organization: A "no-stone-unturned" approach to data entry and record-keeping.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
