NY HOME CARE SERVICES, INC is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join our growing home care agency. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in payroll and bookkeeping, with hands-on knowledge of HHAeXchange and Viventium.
This role is responsible for managing payroll, billing, and financial records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly/biweekly payroll for caregivers and office staff
- Manage billing, claims, and timesheets using HHAeXchange& VIVENTIEM
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Track employee hours, PTO, and payroll adjustments
- Generate payroll and financial reports
- Support HR with onboarding and employee record management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and/or payroll experience
- Experience in a home care or home health agency
- Proficiency in HHAeXchange and Viventium (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- BILLINGUAL IN DIFFERENT LAGUAGES PREFFERED BENGALI ,HINDI ,URDU, SPANISH, RUSSIAN&CHINESE.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medicaid billing and EVV systems
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
