Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist Experienced ( Home Care Agency)

NY HOME CARE SERVICES, INC is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join our growing home care agency. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in payroll and bookkeeping, with hands-on knowledge of HHAeXchange and Viventium.

This role is responsible for managing payroll, billing, and financial records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll for caregivers and office staff
  • Manage billing, claims, and timesheets using HHAeXchange& VIVENTIEM
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
  • Track employee hours, PTO, and payroll adjustments
  • Generate payroll and financial reports
  • Support HR with onboarding and employee record management

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and/or payroll experience
  • Experience in a home care or home health agency
  • Proficiency in HHAeXchange and Viventium (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • BILLINGUAL IN DIFFERENT LAGUAGES PREFFERED BENGALI ,HINDI ,URDU, SPANISH, RUSSIAN&CHINESE.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Medicaid billing and EVV systems
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
