Bookkeeper (QuickBooks + Excel + Client Management)

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who can manage client accounts in QuickBooks, work with financial data in Excel, and communicate effectively with clients. This role requires strong ownership, independent problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping (QuickBooks Online)

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record and categorize transactions properly
  • Prepare monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies independently
  • Ensure books are clean, accurate, and up to date

Excel & Data Management

  • Use Excel to organize, clean, and analyze financial data
  • Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Work with bulk data (bank exports, transaction listings, etc.)
  • Use formulas such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
  • Identify inconsistencies between different data sources

Client Communication

  • Communicate with clients in clear and professional English
  • Request required documents and follow up proactively
  • Explain financial reports in a simple and understandable way
  • Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner

Project & Task Management

  • Manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality work
  • Continuously improve processes and efficiency

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong Excel skills (data handling, formulas, reconciliations)
  • Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Fast learner with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience working with international clients
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets or document management systems
